"Being selected to perform at the Hyperactive Music Festival in early June 2006, presented us an opportunity to network with bands from NM, AZ, CO and CA, as well as learn from the music industry professionals providing panel discussions. The location and date are ideal in that Albuquerque is a great, artistic city with youthful exuberance for music, musicians and its modern downtown scene. The festival was organized and professional. We worked with one of the best soundmen in our band's experience. In contrast to Austinites' treatment of visitors during SXSW (sporting T-shirts that warn, "Don't Move Here!!"), the locals were friendly, the bands were hot and the scene was diverse and uber-cool. We loved every minute of it!"
